Impossible music #5 is an interactive installation which takes place in a corridor or a staircase, in whose end there is a pedestal with a volume indicator that shows a sound being played back through a pair of headphones. Nevertheless, this sound will never can be heard, since as the spectator is moving closer, a proximity sensor gradually attenuates the volume until, when the spectator finally reachs the headphones’ position, the sound is completely muted.
